Release Notes is our monthly update that highlights the new features of Mosyle Manager as well as recent product improvements we’ve made to help you manage Apple devices in your schools and/or district. Here's what we launched in March 2018!
Administrators now are able to assign more than one device to 1:1 users. To assign the additional device, navigate to My School and go the User Area.
When assigning the Apple devices, you are able to select exceptions, choosing the devices that should never receive the particular management profile.
In this new version, we improved the criteria-specific groups of devices even more based on customers feedback. We optimized the devices filtering and now you are able to receive Reports about the groups through email. We also added new criteria for grouping macOS devices such as CPU Model, RAM, Last Wi-Fi name connected.
Now you are able to install enterprise Google Chrome extensions to your Mac computer fleet.
Administrators now can access the View Details area and check out if the restriction was not applied because of system operating incompatibility.
Now you are able to install iBooks on your school’s Mac computers using VPP licenses. Create this profile by navigating to the Management tab.
You can check out info about all the past user assignments applied to a particular device. Navigate to the Device Info area, select the device and click View Device Assignment History.
Now you can select “None” for the “Email” option when setting up your school’s Apple School Manager Parameters. Navigate to My School and go to the Apple School Manager Integration area to configure the parameters.
Now you are able to export all the activation codes of Shared iPad Carts in a single PDF file.
Apple just released iOS 11.3 and made available some functionalities that device administrators are excited about, such as Bluetooth Control, delayed OS update, and Web Clip on Home Layout.
