Release Notes is our update that highlights the new features of Mosyle Manager as well as recent product improvements we’ve made to help you manage Apple devices in your school and/or district. Here's what we’ve launched in July 2019.
When creating the Dynamic Group, you will be able to select the location as a criteria for the group. This will allow you to view if the user has allowed the MDM to retrieve their location using the Mosyle app. (The location services must be approved on the device within Settings > Privacy)
When using Mosyle Auth, the end-user can now choose which Wifi network they are able to connect to on the Mac Login Screen Window. This update is automatically sent to devices.
Now you are able to select to remove synced data when removing the integration. This option is available when deleting Apple School Manager and Active Directory.
You can select to enforce the assignment model option you choose when creating the Device Enrollment (DEP) profile. If you do not check this box, the devices will still receive the previous assignment model. For example: if you want to change 1:1 devices to limbo status, make sure to select "Devices in Limbo" from the dropdown menu and check the box to make sure the new assignment will be applied to the devices.
