Release Notes is our monthly update that highlights the new features of Mosyle Manager as well as recent product improvements we’ve made to help you manage Apple devices in your schools and/or district. Here's what we launched in December 2018!
Now you can select to not auto-install the management profile after saving and show the profile at the Self-Service area in the Mosyle Manager app. By combining these two options, you are able to allow staff, teachers and students to select the configurations and content when they need.
Favorite the management profiles in the Management tab. To favorite any profile, just click the star icon next to the profile and it will be moved up on the list.
Update the information about VPP licenses within the Mosyle Manager platform separately for each application. To do it, select the application in the VPP area within Mosyle Manager and click "Update Licenses".
The Primary Leader can now limit user permissions to administrators by selecting which areas and management profiles they will be able to have access to, view, create, update and delete. Select the user in the Administrators tab and click on the areas and profiles the user will have access to.
Select to apply the App Lock by sending the command only once and not re-sending it - which means that the App Lock application time can be longer than 24 hours. By default, the App Lock profile is sent to devices every 24 hours by the MDM solution. Important note: if using this new option, Internet connection is required in order to disable the App Lock. When creating the App Lock management profile, select the option “Send only once and do not resend”.
Save countless hours of IT effort while empowering teachers to manage iPad, Mac, and Apple TV devices in the classroom.
